Trail Update

As of 8 am Avalon is frozen solid, nice fast trails with traction abound. Get out there and enjoy, but wear some warm gloves.
Trail report update via one of our Trail Ambassadors.:

trail report at CCBC 7 am - everything frozen solid - fine to ride. Streams are pretty iced over - dogs can walk across, but a bike would break thru. Air temp is 24 degrees according to the radio, 19 according to my buddy's car thermometer.

trail report 10:15am park n ride trail - anything in the sun is thawed and total muck - stuff that's well shaded is still pretty solid especially the rutted sections. Streams are not frozen across anywhere. Air temps are about 30 according to the thermometer outside my house.

Trail prediction- CRAP except early on mornings following nighttime temps in the 20's until we get some proper sunny and breezy days in a row.
